Responsibilities
· Gain proficiency in and operate downstream processing equipment e.g. AKTA, Repligen TFF system.
· Support both Upstream and Downstream activities, including basic cell culture, cell lysis, buffer preparation, column packing, and instrument cleaning / maintenance.
· Contribute to the writing of laboratory protocols, standard operating procedures, and other forms of routine documentation.
· Analyze and effectively communicate experimental data to internal stakeholders.
Requirements
· Bachelors in Biological Science and Life Science disciplines, Biotechnology, Bioengineering or equivalent.
· 1-3 years of work experience in a bioprocessing, academic or commercial process development setting.
· Demonstrable proficiency in designing and troubleshooting experiments.
· Work authorization in Singapore.
Desired Qualifications
· Working experience with downstream processing equipment.
· Familiarity with developing purification processes for viral vectors (AAV, Lentivirus, Retrovirus).
· Familiarity in working with AAV specific purification resins (i.e., AAVX Affinity Resin).
