We are reaching out with an exciting 12-month contract opportunity for a Application/Tech Delivery Manager to join NTT DATA Singapore.

Contract Duration: 12 months contract with NTT DATA Singapore (renewable)

Location: Alexandra Building , Singapore

Job Overview:

We are looking for an Application/Tech Delivery Manager with strong expertise in Project Delivery Management, Trade Finance, and AS400 systems. The role involves managing technical deliveries, collaborating with multiple teams, and ensuring smooth project execution in the banking domain.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Project Delivery Management


• Plan and manage technical deliverables, system enhancements, and upgrades within the allocated budget.


• Coordinate with multiple application teams to manage technical dependencies.


• Identify, mitigate, and monitor risks/issues related to technical delivery.


• Provide regular status updates and reports to Program/Project Managers.

2. Requirements Management


• Work with Solution Architects (SA) and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to understand and implement functional and technical requirements.


• Provide effort estimation, high-level delivery plans, and impact assessment.

3. Design & Development


• Ensure solutions align with enterprise architecture, security, and control standards.


• Work closely with Development Managers to lead application teams in implementing enhancements.

4. Test Management


• Collaborate with the Test Manager to ensure successful completion of SIT, UAT, performance/load, and application security testing.

5. Implementation & Post-Production Support


• Develop technical implementation plans across application teams.


• Coordinate production cutover activities and ensure adequate post-implementation support.

Must-Have Skills & Experience:


• 8+ years of experience in software development and project delivery (at least 3 years in a similar role).


• Strong background in documentary trade financing products and processes.


• Proven ability to manage and execute complex IT projects, including risk mitigation and issue resolution.


• Hands-on experience in AS400 systems using COBOL programming.


• Strong problem-solving and root cause analysis skills.


• Ability to work under multiple pressures such as timeline, budget, and quality constraints.


• Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Technical & Domain Expertise:


• Project Delivery Management: Planning, Execution, and Risk Control.


• Banking & Trade Finance: Strong understanding of documentary trade products and processes.


• Technical Stack: AS400, COBOL, Aldon, TAMIC.

Preferred Qualifications:


• Experience working in banking projects with system upgrades and regulatory compliance.


• Hands-on experience in managing cross-functional teams.


• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and test-driven development (TDD) approaches.
