Responsibilities:

  • Participate in daily production meetings with relevant teams and managers.
  • Daily production plans and upcoming forecasts
  • Monitor and communicate key performance indicators, including WIP, production plans and results, quality status, material delays, maintenance status, hygiene, staffing, asset risks, and corrective actions.
  • Manage and oversee available facilities and resources effectively.
  • Collaborate with the Manufacturing Manager to develop training strategies and enhance teamwork and staff motivation.
  • Ensure that staff members have clear and specific targets.
  • Supervise attendance, staff turnover, efficiency, and certifications
  • Enforce discipline and safety standards, reporting any risks to physical well-being.
  • Oversee and ensure production targets are met as per job descriptions.
  • Work closely with engineering, materials, production, and maintenance teams to resolve issues affecting production.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives for greater manufacturing flexibility and efficiency.
  • Coordinate with the maintenance team to execute calibration and certification plans for equipment and tools.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Engineering with at least 5 years of relevant experience in manufacturing environment.
  • Proactive and capable of executing tasks in alignment with company standards.
  • Effective communication skills to minimize misunderstandings and manage expectations internally and externally.
  • Demonstrates responsibility, ownership, initiative, leadership, and strong interpersonal skills.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and DMAIC methodology.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work under pressure.
