Job Scope

  • Provide technical expertise and guidance to project teams on utility design, installation, and integration
  • Liaise with local authorities and regulatory bodies to secure necessary permits and approvals
  • Conduct site inspections, monitor work progress, and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards
  • Analyse project data, identify potential issues, and implement effective solutions to mitigate risks
  • Collaborate with designers, contractors, and suppliers to optimise project workflows and drive efficiencies
  • Prepare detailed reports, documentation, and presentations to keep stakeholders informed
  • Mentor and support junior engineers to develop their technical and project management skills

Requirements

  • Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or a related field
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within the construction or infrastructure industry
  • Strong technical knowledge of utility systems, including electricity, water, and telecommunications
  • Familiarity with local regulations, building codes, and industry best practices
  • Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and project management skills
  • Effective communication and interpersonal abilities to collaborate with cross-functional teams
  • Ability to work independently, prioritise tasks, and meet tight deadlines
