Roles & Responsibilities

Job Purpose

The Implementation Lead will be part of the Global Business Services team supporting the Asia Operations Excellence team in ensuring the successful deployment of Cargowise, across the IFS organization. This role plays a pivotal role in driving the implementation process, from initial planning to post-implementation support, ensuring seamless integration and alignment with our business objectives.
In addition, this role will also be the SME for CargoWise (CW), that will support IFS product achieve efficiency from quote to cash. This role is critical to supporting APLL product pipeline that enables global commercial growth.


Roles & Responsibilities

  • Responsible for CargoWise as a systems SME and will be responsible for the implementation, maintenance and improvement, training and budget for this system.
  • Participate in development and deployment discussions between internal functions and SCF to ensure APLL interest is guarded. Be the SME bridging APLL process, requirements with SCF recommended implementation approach/proposal. Guide and advise best practice approach that leverages CargoWise capability out of the box.
  • Partner with functional leaders to align scope, deliverables and change management. Conduct thorough assessments of existing processes and workflows, identifying opportunities for optimization and automation.
  • Serve as the primary contact for delivery needs to facilitate and coordinate stakeholder communication, drive adoption and change management
  • Assist business/process owners in translating concepts and requests to written technical requirements

    Training and User Support:
  • Develop and deliver training programs to educate end-users on CargoWise functionality, workflows, and best practices.
    Provide ongoing support and guidance to users, addressing questions, resolving issues, and troubleshooting technical problems.

    Collaborate with function leads to develop KPI to measure system performance and compliance in,
  • Sell rate generation.
  • Invoicing activities, accuracy, timeliness, and completeness.
  • Operations metrics to measure task execution and processing time.

    Develop global team of CargoWise SME

    Build and develop SOP for origin and destination IFS tariff table update and maintenance.

    Own CargoWise rate management and quoting SOP development, documentation, and deployment. Collaborate with other function stakeholders to build SOP.

  • Quality Assurance and Continuous Improvement
  • Conduct regular audits and assessments of system performance, identifying areas for improvement and optimization.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement system enhancements, updates, and bug fixes.

Qualification & Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science/Management Information System or equivalent
CargoWise Professional Certified
Ability to multi-task, drive deliverables, meet deadlines and collaborate with stakeholders across functions and geographies.
Execution: Proven ability to execute strategies effectively, ensuring seamless integration of insights into the product development process and successfully releasing product updates that meet and exceed customer expectations ; proven track record of customer implementation with CargoWise
Communication and Stakeholder Management: Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to articulate product visions, strategies, and updates to various stakeholders. Effective stakeholder management is essential for driving successful collaboration.
Results Oriented: A high level of adaptability to navigate through the complexities of the Asian market and the logistics sector. Results-oriented mindset with a commitment to achieving growth targets and continuous improvement.
