Senior Manager, New Market Development

What you’ll do
The Senior Manager, New Market Development will play a pivotal role in driving our strategic direction and growth and will be involved in M&As for expanding our business into new regions, international expansion, building financial partnerships strategies and executing GTM strategies.
You Will:
- Analyze where to deploy resources and develop partnerships, investments, and/or acquisition strategies to drive long term strategic value
- Execute M&A transactions that will have a material impact on the business by providing access to regulatory licenses in new geographies
- Identifying acquisition targets, manage negotiations, deal structuring, financial analysis, due diligence process and execution of acquisition deals, ensuring alignment with Airwallex’s strategic goals and regulatory needs
- Work closely with licensing and legal teams to navigate the regulatory landscape to secure necessary approvals, and understand what’s required in targeted new geographies
- Collaborate with legal, finance, and CEO’s office to ensure seamless post-acquisition integration of the acquired entities

What You Will Bring
- 6+ years of experience, preferably in top-tier investment banking, private equity, corporate development in technology companies or equivalent
- Strong analytical skills & data literacy, especially the ability to create and manage investment memos and financial models
- Experience in technology, financial services and/or experience in a high growth environment is advantageous
- Demonstrated experience as a self-starter capable of prioritizing tasks with great written and verbal communication skills to communicate complex concepts to senior management and stakeholders
- Success-oriented and hold yourself accountable for delivering key outcomes
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
