Role

As a Senior Mechatronics Engineer - Control Systems, you will be responsible for developing and implementing control systems for our robotic solutions. You will work on the integration of mechanical, electrical, and software components to ensure optimal performance.


Job Description

  • Design and implement control systems for robotic applications.
  • Design hybrid architectures with PLC control, Embedded Systems and IPCs.
  • Collaborate with mechanical and software engineers to ensure seamless integration.
  • Conduct testing and validation of control systems and related sub components.
  • Optimise control algorithms for performance and reliability of robotic systems
  • Lead and mentor junior engineers in control systems design.
  • Liaise with Electrical Team to design optimal wire harness and safety architecture
  • Liaise with System Integrators to execute certain sub systems under tight timelines.
  • Participate in design reviews and provide feedback to peer engineers
  • Provide training to the Deployment team on troubleshooting and servicing related workflows.


Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in control systems design, preferably in robotics.
  • 2+ years of experience in design and development of mechanical systems that are dependent on actuators and sensors.
  • Prior experience in vendor management and component selection.
  • Proficiency in control system design tools (e.g., MATLAB, Simulink).
  • Strong understanding of sensors, actuators, and mechatronic systems.
  • Experience with embedded systems and real-time control.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities
