Role Overview

As a Senior Mechatronics Engineer specializing in Control Systems, you will play a pivotal role in designing and implementing control systems for our robotic solutions. Your work will involve integrating mechanical, electrical, and software elements to optimize performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and deploy control systems for robotic applications.
  • Create advanced architectures involving PLC control, Embedded Systems, and IPCs.
  • Collaborate with mechanical and software teams for seamless integration.
  • Conduct thorough testing and validation of control systems and related components.
  • Enhance control algorithms to improve the performance and reliability of robotic systems.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to junior engineers in control systems design.
  • Cooperate with the Electrical Team to develop efficient wire harnesses and safety structures.
  • Work with System Integrators to implement specific subsystems within strict deadlines.
  • Participate in design evaluations and offer insights to fellow engineers.
  • Deliver training to the Deployment team on troubleshooting and maintenance procedures.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in control systems design, preferably within robotics.
  • At least 2 years of experience in designing and developing mechanical systems reliant on actuators and sensors.
  • Prior exposure to vendor management and component selection.
  • Proficiency in control system design tools such as MATLAB and Simulink.
  • Comprehensive understanding of sensors, actuators, and mechatronic systems.
  • Hands-on experience with embedded systems and real-time control.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and keen attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
