About the Role

As a Sustainability Consultant with significant expertise, your mission is to lead projects to advise decision-makers in their Sustainability and Decarbonisation strategies using science-based methodologies, ESG frameworks and metrics, alongside understanding of the business and stakeholder context.

• Conduct client meetings and own client engagements;
• Prepare technical and commercial proposals;
• Manage end to end projects and collaborating with the global sustainability practice;
• Independently undertake / lead the analysis and preparation of reports and presentations;
• Follow up and implement the proposed solutions at clients' sites;
• Quantitative and qualitative evaluation of results.

You will lead specific workstreams aiming at identifying, designing, and implementing effective solutions within your area of expertise. You will provide subject matter expertise and lead project teams to help clients establishing and implementing robust programs and, in particular, building organizational capabilities to sustain performance.

Additionally, playing an active role in building the organisation by:

• Participating and contributing to functional and/or industry networks with the aim of developing and sharing best practices
• Providing feedback and coaching colleagues to support their development within the organization
• Support the development and / or enhancing existing IP in the relevant field of expertise, including but not limited to developing reusable assets and sharing thought leadership etc

• Strong/effective verbal and written communication to be able to interact at different levels of the organization, from Executive down to technicians and operators.
• You are in a position to effectively work in a remote setting across time zones.

You should have a demonstrated experience in one or more of the following:

• ESG and sustainable finance;
• Conducting ESG due diligence including report delivery;
• Sustainability strategy and implementation;
• Strategy and implementation of energy transition and decarbonisation projects;
• Climate change risks and opportunities; climate risk assessments, scenario analysis, and/or transition finance;

You are proficient with various sustainability and ESG frameworks and tools, such as:

• GRI, SDGs, UN Global compact, CDP, TCFD as well as local sustainability reporting guidelines, corporate governance codes, etc.
• Developing materiality assessments including facilitating the stakeholder process;

You have business and commercial acumen with demonstrated experience in:

• Advising organizations with their ESG strategy and implementation roadmaps;
• Developing business / value cases and supporting the development and integration of sustainability models and solutions;
• Client engagement across scoping, proposal preparation and project management;

Good analytical, problem-solving and strong written English language skills, with other languages as a plus;

Ability to build effective working relationships regionally and participate in global technical communities to ensure a strong network of resources;

The ability to manage competing priorities and to work effectively under pressure to deadlines.

Qualifications / Experience:

• You have a Master’s degree or equivalent in Environmental Sciences or Engineering;
• You have minimum 7 years of experience in strategy or management consulting;
• Proven track record in one or several of the following sectors is a plus: Metals & Mining, Chemicals, Oil & Gas, Power & Utilities, Agriculture, Food & Beverage, Industrial Manufacturing and Private Equity & Principal Investors;
• Exceptional interpersonal skills and team-working attitude to be able to work in multi-cultural and multi-disciplinary teams;
• High level of proficiency with MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint;
• Fluency in both written and spoken English. Other languages such as Bahasa Indonesia, Thai, Mandarin or Cantonese will be a plus.
