Position Summary:

The Content Project Manager is responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of content projects. This role ensures that content initiatives are completed on time, within scope, and within budget while maintaining high-quality standards. The Content Project Manager will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, design, product, and external stakeholders, to ensure seamless content production and distribution.


Key Responsibilities:

1. Project Planning and Management:

- Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation.

- Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure project objectives are met.

- Monitor project progress and adjust plans as necessary to ensure successful completion.

2. Content Development:

- Oversee the creation, editing, and approval of content, ensuring it aligns with brand guidelines and strategic objectives.

- Collaborate with writers, designers, and other creatives to produce high-quality content.

- Ensure content is optimized for SEO and adheres to best practices.

3. Stakeholder Communication:

- Serve as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders.

- Provide regular updates on project status, challenges, and solutions.

- Facilitate meetings and communication between cross-functional teams.

4. Quality Assurance:

- Implement quality control processes to ensure all content meets established standards.

- Review and approve final content before publication.

- Continuously improve content production processes and workflows.

5. Budget Management:

- Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring projects are delivered within financial constraints.

- Track and report on budget expenditures and variances.

6. Performance Tracking and Reporting:

- Establish KPIs and metrics to measure the success of content projects.

- Analyze project performance data and provide actionable insights for future projects.

- Prepare and present detailed project reports to senior management.


Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.

- 3-5 years of experience in project management, preferably in a content roles

- Proven experience managing complex projects with multiple stakeholders.

- Strong understanding of content creation processes, including writing, editing, design, and SEO.

- Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills.

- Proficiency in project management tools.

- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.

- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.


Preferred Qualifications:

- PMP or similar project management certification.

- Experience with content management systems (CMS) and digital asset management (DAM) systems.

- Knowledge of current digital marketing trends and best practices.
