Summary:

We are actively seeking an adept Software and Application Manager (Technical Lead) with expertise in .NET, OutSystems, and Data Science, boasting a minimum of 10 years of overall experience. The ideal candidate will oversee the acquisition, development, and implementation of robust and scalable mobile applications using OutSystems, ensuring high-quality front-end design and minimizing rework. Previous involvement in local government projects in Singapore is highly valued.


Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the acquisition and development of software systems in organizational units.
  • Lead the design, development, and deployment of mobile applications using the OutSystems platform for enterprise clients.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, define application features, and ensure successful project delivery.
  • Monitor the results and quality of different software solutions and projects implemented in the organization.
  • Uphold front-end design quality by adhering to OutSystems best practices and optimizing user experience.
  • Oversee the development of Proof-of-Concept solutions and provide technical expertise on the development of software and platform features, ensuring that appropriate security and risk factors are considered.
  • Prioritize tasks, manage timelines, and communicate project progress effectively with project managers.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers, fostering continuous learning and improvement.
  • Participate in Agile project methodologies, attending daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospective meetings.

Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in OutSystems development, particularly focused on mobile applications.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft .Net Technologies, including C#.NET, VB.NET, ASP.NET, WCF, WPF, and SSIS.
  • Strong understanding of software development methodologies and full SDLC.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certification in OutSystems Front-end Developer Specialist, Web Developer Specialist, or Mobile Developer Specialist.
  • Experience in developing and deploying mobile applications for enterprise clients.
  • Familiarity with version control systems like Visual Source Safe (VSS) or Tortoise SVN.
  • Knowledge of reporting tools like Crystal Reports and development tools like Microsoft Expression Blend.
  • Previous involvement in local government projects in Singapore.
