As a Junior Account Assistant, you will be an essential part of our accounting team, ensuring the integrity of financial data through precise recording, verification, and consolidation of transactions. You will manage a full set of accounts, advise clients on various financial matters, and play a key role in assisting with audits and payroll. This role is ideal for an individual passionate about accounting and eager to grow through hands-on experience and professional development opportunities.
- Accounting and Financial Reporting:Ensure accurate recording, verification, consolidation, and entry of transactions to maintain financial data integrity.
Manage a complete set of accounts, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting. - Client Advisory:Provide clients with expert advice on accounting, GST, tax, corporate secretarial, and payroll matters.
Research and implement best practices to support clients in achieving optimal financial management. - Audit Coordination:Collaborate with auditors to schedule and prepare for audits, ensuring smooth and compliant audit processes.
- Payroll Management:Prepare and process payroll, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations.
- Ad-Hoc Support:Handle additional tasks and projects as required to support the team and enhance operational efficiency.
- Educational Background:Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma in Finance, Accountancy, Banking, or a related field.
- Experience:A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in finance, general accounting, or cost accounting.
- Skills and Competencies:Strong command of English, with the ability to clearly communicate complex financial information.
Proficiency in accounting software and tools, with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail.
Knowledge of GST, payroll regulations, and corporate secretarial duties is preferred. - Preferred Background:Prior experience in a junior assistant role specializing in Finance, General Accounting, or Cost Accounting is advantageous.
