Roles & Responsibilities

Duties & responsibilities:

1.To prepare and compile and analyse the monthly and annual financial statements in a timely and accurate manner to the Management.

2.To prepare Financial Statements that give a true and fair view in accordance with the provisions of the Charities Act, the Societies Act and Singapore Financial Reporting standards.

3.To oversee all financial matters to ensure proper utilization of funds, accountability and internal control

4.To prepare and compile forecast and yearly capital and operating expenditure budgets as per company' guidelines and to help to ensure spending with the approved budgets

5.To prepare and liaise with internal and external auditors for statutory and statistical audits and bankers on treasury and banking matters

6.To advise operation on financial matters and to ensure compliance to Group Finance policy and procedures

7.To participate in quality audit such as CARF, for Finance department (Only Singapore Anglican Community Services)

8.To monitor the overall cash flow and to work with bankers on investment matters

9.To ensure that GST are properly maintained, tracked and timely quarterly submission to IRAS

10.To assist in new processes and system implementation when required

11.To proactively identify areas of improvement and opportunities to drive and enhance finance operational efficiency

12.To provide supervisory/mentoring role to the junior Finance team members

13.To back up another Centre Finance where required

14.To perform other duties and ad hoc projects as assigned
