RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage, monitor, and maintain virtual instances hosted in the Government Commercial Cloud (GCC) environment.
• Perform server management, cloud implementation, and storage management services.
• Submit and track service requests on behalf of the Authority to the approved CSPs.
• Ensure compliance with Government security and cloud governance policies.
• Perform regular performance tuning, capacity planning, and cost optimization of cloud resources.
• Ensure up-to-date asset inventory management, including lease, warranty, and maintenance contracts.
• Implement cloud best practices to enhance system efficiency and reliability.
• Enforce cloud security policies, ensuring data protection and access controls.
• Work closely with cybersecurity teams to identify and mitigate cloud-related vulnerabilities.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Minimum 1 year of experience managing public cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
• Strong knowledge of cloud architecture, server management, and storage solutions.
• Experience in cloud deployment, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with cloud security best practices and compliance frameworks.
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize cloud environments.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Preferred Additional Certifications
  • AWS Certified DevOps Engineer Associate
  • Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert
  • WS Certified SysOps Administrator Professional (level 2)
  • AWS Certified DevOps Engineer Professional (level 2)
  • Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert (level 2)
