Principal Accountabilities:-

  1. Plan and execute the company strategy to achieve the corporate vision and mission.
  2. Analyze and report market and business development information including market intelligence, technical knowledge of risk management and business process especially the Japanese Business.
  3. Collect information on the client’s (Japanese & Local) business strategies and risk management strategies in the Southeast Asia region.
  4. Develop regional marketing strategy with closely associating with our Head Office in Tokyo and client’s regional headquarters.
  5. Support the improvement of the risk management solution for the client’s regional headquarters in Japan.
  6. Provide and conduct training for the company and group companies in English and Japanese, where necessary.
  7. Report in Japanese regularly to our Head Office in Tokyo.
  8. Support other departments on the reporting followed by the regional directives.
  9. To introduce Japanese hospitality and culture to our employees, distribution channel, clients and society.
  10. Provide Japanese language support to staff in other departments, where appropriate.


Job Requirements:-

  1. University Degree, preferably with professional insurance qualifications;
  2. At least 3 years of marketing or corporate planning experience in General Insurance Industry;
  3. Analytical with good report writing, presentation and communication skills in both English and Japanese;
  4. Good knowledge of business development with Japanese companies and Underwriting;
  5. Preferable working knowledge of Finance and/or Accounting;
  6. Advantage for those with work experience in Japanese or international insurance company in a regional capacity;
  7. Possess good interpersonal and communication skills;
  8. Able to multi-task, and is a team player, conscientious, tactful and willing to learn new skills;
  9. Organized and has the ability to work under pressure;
  10. Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office application.
