Roles & Responsibilities

Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated Senior IT Support Specialist to join our team and play a key role in supporting our network infrastructure, cloud environments, and user devices. This position combines technical expertise in network devices and cloud administration with excellent communication and documentation skills.


Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the IT point of contact: Provide daily technical support to a diverse user base, fostering positive and clear communication to effectively address their needs.
  • Desktop & Device Management: Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices, ensuring timely resolution and user satisfaction.
  • Technology Adoption Champion: Offer onboarding and guidance to users on new software and IT equipment, promoting seamless technology adoption within the organization.
  • Security Guardian: Actively participate in safeguarding network and computer systems by adhering to security protocols and best practices.
  • IT Asset Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of IT assets, ensuring efficient inventory control.
  • Quality Assurance: Monitor and ensure optimal performance of all IT systems, upholding agreed-upon service levels and quality standards.
  • Problem-Solving Prowess: Utilize exceptional problem-solving skills and independent troubleshooting techniques to resolve user issues efficiently, minimizing unnecessary escalation.
  • Adaptability & Initiative: Be prepared to undertake additional IT-related tasks as assigned by superiors, demonstrating a proactive and adaptable approach.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience in IT Support/ related roles
  • Strong understanding of network protocols and technologies (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, etc.)
  • Proficiency in SSH and secure network access practices.
  • Working knowledge of cloud computing concepts and experience with at least one major cloud platform (Azure, AWS, or GCP).
  • Experience with MDM solutions like Microsoft Intune (preferred).
  • Familiarity with Windows and Mac operating systems.
  • Excellent communication, teamwork, documentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • ITIL certification is a plus.
