We are currently recruiting an Assistant Manager to join theResearch Achievements, Impact and Strategic Enhancement (RAISE)Unit at Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine(LKCMedicine).

The Research Achievements, Impactand Strategic Enhancement (RAISE) Unit is a relatively new unitthat is established to develop strategies to enhance the researchimpact, visibility and reputation of the school institutionally,nationally and internationally. It sits within the ambit of theLKCMedicine Research Administration and Support Services Departmentunder the Vice Dean of Research Office. You will be part of adynamic and trailblazing team at the vanguard of highlighting andreporting on the school's research impact and achievements. Youwill also work with other departments including the School Faculty,Finance, Office of Innovation and Enterprise (OIE) and Office ofPatient Engagement(OPEN).

Responsibilities:
  • Organizeand staff research programme meetings including minuteswriting
  • Liaise and work closely with researchprogramme directors to consolidate the research achievements ofeach programme for reporting to the School Management, GoverningBoard and Board of Trustees
  • To producePowerPoint slide decks for high-level corporate presentations,reporting purposes and school-widecommunications
  • To assist the RAISE Unit in theproduction of materials for visual communication, including reportfigures and infographics for presentations andreports
  • To consolidate updates and informationreceived by the RAISE Unit such as media releases/publicity,publication updates from Faculty, awards and achievements fromFaculty
  • Assist with the preparation of Dean'sManagement Report (quarterly) and the school annualreport
  • Monitor and track the budget expenditureof internally funded grants and work together with PrincipalInvestigators / Programme Directors to facilitate budget phasingand expenditure when necessary
  • Assist tocoordinate the annual budget exercise for research division workingclosely with different stakeholders to ensure budgetmarksmanship
  • Manage the school internal grantswhich includes post grant operations such as account creation,budget loading, account closure
  • Any ad-hoctasks whererequired


Requirements:
  • BachelorDegree / Diploma in Sciences, Business Administration, Media, Artsand Design
  • Preferably more than 5 years ofrelated working experience in academic / research / healthcareindustry
  • Experience in designing visuals,infographics, creating professional and attractive powerpointslides for management
  • Experience in minuteswriting and generating minutes in a short timeframe
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office especiallyMS Powerpoint, MS Excel
  • Proficient in AdobePhotoshop or related software
  • Demonstratedability to build and maintain relationships with diversestakeholders
  • Meticulous, positive attitude,able to multi-task, and work under pressure and tightdeadlines
  • Resourceful, strong analytical andproblem-solving skills and ability to develop new ideas and provideconceptual solutions
