We are looking for a passionate WSH Coordinator to join our team. The WSH Coordinator will play a critical role in assisting in implementing and maintaining workplace safety and health programs to ensure compliance with regulations and promote a safe working environment.

Job Roles and Responsibilities:

Develop, implement, and monitor WSH policies and procedures in line with regulatory requirements and company standards. Review of risk assessments and safe work procedures Conduct regular safety inspections and audits of facilities and operations to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety regulations. Provide guidance and training to employees on best WSH practices, including emergency response, safe work procedures, risk assessments and the use of personal protective equipment (PPE). Investigate and report on workplace accidents, incidents, and near-misses, including root cause analysis and implementation of corrective actions. Maintain accurate records of safety inspections, incidents, training sessions, and prepare reports for management and regulatory bodies. Collaborate with other departments to integrate WSH practices into daily operations and ensure the effectiveness of safety programs. Stay current with changes in workplace, safety and health regulations, approved code of practices and standards to ensure the company remains compliant. Promote a positive safety culture within the organization through continuous improvement initiatives and employee engagement.

Job Requirements:

Proven experience in a similar WSH role, preferably within a similar industry. Strong knowledge of local and international WSH regulations and standards. WSQ Advanced Certificate in Workplace Safety and Health (Level B) certification is required. Other certifications e.g. Occupational First Aider, Managing Work-At-Heights, Confined Space Assessor would be advantageous Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively present and discuss WSH topics with employees at all levels. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other WSH-management softwares.
