Valencia Yachts Private Limited is a premier luxury yacht charter company in Singapore, offering bespoke cruising experiences for private and corporate events. We are seeking a skilled Yacht Captain to ensure safe navigation, manage onboard operations, and deliver top-tier service to our guests.



Key Responsibilities:


  • Safely operate and navigate charter yachts in compliance with MPA (Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore) regulations.
  • Ensure passenger safety, comfort, and an excellent onboard experience.
  • Oversee vessel maintenance, refueling, and routine inspections.
  • Coordinate with the sales team, yacht partners, clients, and crew to execute smooth sailing itineraries.
  • Conduct pre-departure safety briefings for guests and crew.
  • Monitor weather conditions and adjust voyage plans accordingly.
  • Maintain logbooks, operational reports, and safety documentation.
  • Handle docking, mooring, and anchoring procedures.
  • Uphold high standards of customer service and professionalism during charters.


Requirements:


✔ Valid PPCDL (Powered Pleasure Craft Driving Licence)

✔ STCW Certification (Preferred but not mandatory)

✔ Experience as a Yacht Captain or Skipper in Singapore or Southeast Asia

✔ Knowledge of MPA regulations, local cruising routes, and safety protocols

✔ Strong communication and leadership skills

✔ Ability to handle charter guests, including VIP clientele

✔ Physically fit and capable of performing mooring, anchoring, and vessel upkeep


Preferred Qualifications:


Experience with catamarans or luxury motor yachts

Background in hospitality or customer service

Basic mechanical knowledge for minor troubleshooting

Multilingual skills (e.g., English, Mandarin, Malay) are a plus
