Position Overview:

This Talent Acquisition Specialist role is responsible for the success of regional vendor management programs. This position plays a critical role partnering with the business to understand needs, identifying vendors to meet service requirements, and managing a portfolio of strategic vendor relationships to ensure our organization’s talent acquisition goals are achieved.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Partners with Regional Talent Acquisition leaders and Operating Companies to identify need and engage high-performing, cost-effective vendors to support their needs.
  • Partners with procurement to negotiate terms and conditions, pricing, and SLAs;
  • Tracks, measures, reports and evaluates vendor performance. Root cause and executing countermeasures when delivery is falling short of expectations.
  • Drives talent acquisition process excellence, including utilization of DBS to identify, implement and maintain continuous improvement efforts. Participates on, and leads as needed, project teams.
  • Analyzes, and provides operational metrics to highlight opportunities to increase efficiency, optimize cost and reduce risk.
  • Validates monthly billing for services and partners with internal teams to execute vendor payments.
  • Performs as functional bridge amongst external vendors as well as internal partners to create a positive overall experience, while maintaining compliance. Vendor relationships include Recruitment Process Outsourcing (RPO), direct hire search firms (both contingent and retained/executive search) and temporary staffing agencies.

Preferred Background and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in global Talent Acquisition processes and programs.
  • Talent Acquisition (or other HR) vendor management experience where skills in influencing, negotiation, and problem resolution combined with previous experience leveraging business tools and technology for service delivery and analytics have been demonstrated.
  • Experience working in a lean/kaizen culture focused on continuous improvement with a track record of utilizing these methodologies as a business practice.
  • Excellent demonstrated written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to work with all levels in the organization and communicate effectively regarding sensitive and confidential matters.
  • Successful influencing, negotiation, and project/program management skills.
  • Strong project management, analytical and critical thinking skills. Should possess a strong attention to detail, ability to multitask and a strong sense of urgency.

Language Skills

English fluency required. Additional language skills are beneficial.
