Saruchi R Jewellery ("SRJ") is a Singapore based company engaged in retail sale of jewellery made from precious metals and stones. SRJ is registered as a Regulated Dealer under Precious Stones and Precious Metals (Prevention of Money Laundering and Terrorism Financing) Act 2019 with Ministry of Law.
SRJ specialises in creating artisanal demi-fine jewellery with wide variety of semi-precious natural gemstones. SRJ jewellery line focuses on using skin friendly fine metals and natural gemstones in all designs which are not only affordable but are trendy as well. Inspired by modern women and their everyday lives, SRJ designs celebrate femininity in all forms. SRJ's artisanal designs are vibrant yet modern, simple yet elegant and perfect for all occasions, as they reflect genuine authenticity, individual appeal and one of a kind finish which mass-produced items simply don't have.
Every phase of jewellery making process at SRJ is carefully managed and controlled to ensure only the best quality gemstones and materials are used in crafting our jewellery line. SRJ team loves working with fine metals like sterling silver, 925 vermeil, 14k gold filled, solid 14k gold & natural gemstones which are all sourced from a select base of globally reputed suppliers. These are then handcrafted with great precision to create an elegant and chic collection.
SRJ products are sold worldwide through multiple e-commerce platforms and in Singapore through its boutique retail store in Tanglin Mall. SRJ brand has a clear motto "Work hard to create jewellery and work harder to keep customers happy" so buyers always get a solid customer service experience along with best in class jewellery.
Job Description:
We are looking to hire a hard-working, customer-oriented retail shop executive to ensure the smooth running of our in-store retail operations. The shop executive's responsibilities include welcoming customers to our shop, monitoring customer activities to prevent incidents of shoplifting, arranging window displays accordingly, and processing customer orders. You should also be able to identify customers' needs and recommend suitable shop items that best satisfy their needs.
To be successful as a shop executive, you should be well-organized and adept at using pricing and labeling equipment. Ultimately, an outstanding shop executive should demonstrate effective communication skills and deliver exceptional customer service at all times.
This role requires the candidate to have a good understanding of (a) the shop's POS system, (b) Company and mall's policies and practices, (c) products offered by the Company.
This position will suit a self‐motivated individual who possesses strong inter-personal skills. A positive and enthusiastic approach is essential, along with the ability to communicate successfully with customers and senior management. The candidate will get an in‐depth exposure to niche jewellery industry and opportunity to upskill and expand their role and responsibilities over time.
Job Responsibilities:
- Support the day-to-day business operations of the retail store.
- Greeting customers the moment they enter the store and making them feel welcome.
- Maintaining an in-depth knowledge of store items to provide advice and recommendations as needed.
- Be approachable and be a good listener in discovering customers' needs.
- Recommend a product and solution in meeting customers' needs & objectives.
- Processing customer payments using the shop's Point of Sale (POS) system.
- Receiving, processing, and organizing jewellery items in the store.
- Restocking depleted or low shop items and ensuring that the sales floor is organized according to established guidelines.
- Assisting customers in locating desired shop items.
- Informing customers of shop promotions to encourage purchases.
- Performing regular price audits to identify and correct price discrepancies.
- Maintaining store neat and tidy at all times and performing end-of-day store cleaning duties.
- Addressing and resolving customers enquiries/complaints in a professional manner.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Fixed Compensation: S$ 1,900 – S$ 2,100 pm
- Completion Bonus: S$ 500 after completion of twelve months of service.
- Sales Commission: 5% on in-store sales successfully converted by candidates
- Full-time position
- Training will be provided.
- Career growth - potential candidates will be groomed for Store Manager position.
Working Week & Time:
- 5 days work week. Preferably Sunday to Thursday.
- 9.50 am to 8pm
