Roles & Responsibilities

Job Description:

  • Handle full sets of accounts of selected subsidiaries covering AR, AP, Fixed Asset, Lease and General Ledger.
  • Handle day to day account operations and month end closing.
  • Prepare monthly bank reconciliation and intercompany reconciliations.
  • Working knowledge of IFRS 116 Lease accounting.
  • Submission of monthly GTO Reports to respective landlords.
  • Preparation of quarterly GST and assist in yearly income tax computation.
  • Prepare required monthly schedules/reports for yearly audit and tax purposes.
  • Assist to prepare management accounts and group consolidation accounts.
  • Ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures.
  • Any other ad hoc duties assigned.

Requirement:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word/Excel)
  • Experience in using Oracle Netsuite preferred but not required
  • Knowledge of IFRS 116 accounting standard, GST and income tax preferred
  • Positive Attitude with the ability to keep all financial details confidential
  • Independent worker, resourceful, able to work with little guidance
  • Strong proficiency in written and spoken English
  • Organizational skills
