Senior Legal Executive

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Manage the overall legal affairs of the company.
  • Coordinate and collaborate with the Legal Department in HQ.
  • Draft and review documents such as long-term LNG agreements and spot market agreements.
  • Handle legal dispute resolutions involving LNG counterparties.
  • Mitigate legal risks and develop policies
  • Take charge of resolving local legal disputes for the company.
  • Oversee the registration and audit processes for transaction counterparts.
  • Provide advice on laws and regulations affecting the company's operations
  • Stay updated on legal and regulatory developments in Singapore and the industry
  • Support corporate governance actions
  • Provide legal training for new employees.

Requirement

  • Singapore or PRC bar qualified, or common law qualified lawyer with substantial practice history
  • At least 3 years of experience as an in-house counsel for a multinational organization.
  • Good knowledge and experience in commercial law and contract negotiations.
  • Effectively bilingual in English and Mandarin to collaborate with Chinese speaking stakeholders
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced, startup style environment.
  • Strong analytical, communication and drafting skills, an eye for detail.
