Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales Director to lead our Singapore sales team in the aluminium products division. The Sales Director will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies to drive revenue growth, expand market share, and build strong relationships with key clients. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales leadership, a deep understanding of the aluminium industry, and the ability to inspire and motivate a high-performing sales team.
Key Responsibilities
1. Sales Strategy Development:
- Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to achieve company revenue and profitability targets.
- Identify new market opportunities and develop plans to penetrate and expand in these markets.
- Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to inform strategic decisions.
2. Team Leadership:
- Lead, mentor, and motivate all sales team members in South Asian and Indian offiece to achieve individual and team targets.
- Foster a culture of high performance, continuous improvement, and accountability.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback and coaching.
3. Client Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
- Understand client needs and provide tailored solutions to meet their requirements.
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and address any issues or concerns promptly.
4. Sales Operations:
- Oversee the sales process from lead generation to closing deals, ensuring a seamless customer experience.
- Monitor sales metrics and KPIs, and prepare regular reports for senior management.
- Manage the sales budget and allocate resources effectively to maximize ROI.
5. Collaboration:
- Work closely with the marketing, product development, and operations teams to align sales strategies with overall business objectives.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional materials and campaigns that support sales efforts.
6. Industry Knowledge:
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, technological advancements, and regulatory changes affecting the aluminum products market.
- Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and conferences to enhance brand visibility and network with potential clients.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred.
- Minimum of 15 years of sales experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within the aluminum or related industry.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
- Strong understanding of the aluminum products market, including key players, trends, and customer needs.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to think strategically and execute tactically.
- Proficient in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Willingness to travel as needed.
