Roles & Responsibilities

Reports to:

Finance Manager, Executive Director & Board of Management


DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITY

The incumbent reports to the Finance Manager. He / she will assist and support the Manager and Executive Director in relation to Finance and Administrative support of Down Syndrome Association (Singapore).

He / she is expected to execute range of accounting tasks aligned established accounting principles and standards,comply with the regulations.


Job Description:


Finance Support

•In charge in daily accounting operations
•Oversee program fees, donation receipts, ad-hoc invoicing, and actively follow up on aging reports and fees collection.
•In charge of donation and issuance of Tax-Deductible receipt
•Process timely and accurate payments to partners, vendors, and staff claims in accordance with the Association's policies and procedures.
•Inventory management for merchandise items
•Monitor fixed asset register
•Involve in budgeting process and monitor the budget utilization
•Involve in regular reviews of financial and other policies to ensure compliance with regulations
•Involve in Grant Management and its submission
•Involve in year-end closing and year-end statutory audit and special audit for specific project/funding


Administrative Support

•Facilities management of the activities centre and vendor management looking after contracts and renewal
•Manage and order the supply for office stationery and pantry supplies
•Assist in HR functions including but not limited to leave application, payroll processing, employee enquiries
•Provide support during Annual General Meeting (AGM) matters


Other

•Attend Committee meeting and minutes taking

• Carry out and implement any other tasks / duties assigned by the supervisor


Requirements

• Minimum qualification : Diploma in Accounting/Finance or other relevant disciplines.

• 3 year of relevant experience. Experience in a similar capacity in the social service sector will be advantageous.
