Roles & Responsibilities

  • Responsible for running day-to-day control and management of scheduled jobs using BMC Control-M.
  • Handle Control-M related automation.
  • Proactive monitoring to ensure continuous and high availability of Control-M service & processes.
  • Perform administration function on Control-M Server, Enterprise Manager, Control-M agent and Control Module.
  • Provide scripting/programming support to create, enhance and troubleshoot issues of scripts.
  • Provide technical guidance on how Control-M jobs should be and its' appropriate use cases.
  • Apply fix-pack/patch to fix intermediate issues in Control-M.
  • Participates in project and initiatives related to BMC Control-M.
  • Manage 24x7 job monitoring team to ensure SLA for critical jobs are met.

Job Requirements

  • Excellent skill to handle Control-M priority issues
  • Experience with Control-M Managed File Transfer
  • Ability to work in fast paced environment and able to deliver results in a timely manner.
  • Adopts an innovative and proactive mindset to work on given assignments.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and oral.
  • Flexible to support critical activities/incidents after office hours based on business priorities.
  • Applicants with experience to other job scheduling applications will be advantageous
