International Placements Recruiter (Sourcing & Candidate Liaison)
Location: Central
Reports To: Recruitment Manager / Team Leader

Position Overview:

We are seeking a proactive and customer-focused Recruitment Consultant specializing in international placements, with a strong emphasis on sourcing top talent and liaising with candidates throughout the recruitment process. This role is perfect for someone looking to make a mid-career change into recruitment or an experienced recruiter with a passion for international talent acquisition. You will be responsible for sourcing qualified international candidates, building relationships, and guiding them through the placement journey, ensuring they find the right career opportunities across borders.

Key Responsibilities:

Candidate Sourcing & Engagement:

  • Source, attract, and engage international candidates within specific international markets across various industries using platforms such as job boards, LinkedIn, professional networks, and recruitment databases.
  • Conduct initial candidate assessments, including skills matching, career aspirations, and suitability for international placements.
  1. 1 Candidate Liaison & Relationship Building:
    • Develop strong, ongoing relationships with candidates, guiding them through every stage of the recruitment process—from initial contact through placement and post-placement follow-up.
    • Provide exceptional candidate care by offering advice and insights on international job markets, relocation, visa requirements, and culture adjustments.
    • Act as the primary point of contact for candidates throughout the recruitment journey, offering consistent support and guidance.
  2. 2 Interviewing & Screening:
    • Conduct in-depth interviews and screenings to evaluate candidates' qualifications, experience, and motivations for making an international career move.
    • Assess candidates for their cultural fit with the client's organization, ensuring successful long-term placements.
    • Prepare candidates for interviews with clients, including providing coaching on interview techniques and international business expectations.
  3. 3 Market Research & Candidate Matching:
    • Research and stay informed on international recruitment trends, salary benchmarks, and industry demands to ensure candidates are aligned with the best opportunities.
    • Collaborate with Consultant Manager to understand clients' specific hiring needs and job specifications, ensuring candidates are matched accurately to roles across different countries.
  4. 4 Pipeline Development (Candidate-Focused):
    • Develop and maintain a pipeline of high-quality candidates interested in international placements, actively expanding talent pools for future job openings.
    • Collaborate with the recruitment team to understand upcoming client needs, and proactively engage with potential candidates to meet those demands.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Experience in recruitment or a related field, with an interest in international placements. Experience in sourcing and liaising with candidates is highly desirable.
  • Mid-career professionals looking for a career change into recruitment are encouraged to apply—relevant transferable skills are welcomed.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage and guide candidates.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple candidate placements at once.
