Roles & Responsibilities

Siebel Developer

  • Responsible for analyzing and interpreting the technical specifications and discussing the same with the clients if any modifications are to be done.
  • Expertise in using Siebel tools to do customized configurations, using workflows and scripting to build the application to the custom needs of the client/business users.
  • Contributed majorly in building automation tools like asset mass create, FG upload tool, Pricing tool etc. that made the application usage very convenient for users just on button clicks.
  • Good hands-on knowledge of using data analyzing tools like SQL developer and toad which helps in maintaining the customer data.
  • Using applications like Service Now and HP QC for defect and incident tracking and addressing them accurately and withing deadlines.
  • Responsible for gathering and analyzing client's requirements through meetings.
  • Analyzing the business requirements and preparing solution document with impact assessment prior to starting the development.
  • Designing flow charts of business functional model for better and easy understanding of the application flow.
  • Responsible to prepare system documentation and technical research documentation for future reference.
  • Modifying the application's existing functionality as per the client requirements on demand basis using Siebel Tools by suggesting & implementing the most efficient way as per Oracle guidelines.
  • Involved in developing various custom Siebel functionalities which can be used across the client application in a generic way.
  • Preparing High level (HLD) and Low Level (LLD) documents for the software applications.
  • Development of Equinix Products & Services according to the business needs considering the efficient and reusable features.
  • Responsible for providing development solutions for Siebel Product configurator.
  • Actively participating in reviewing project's technical documents and suggesting the best way to configure the application to achieve the maximum usability with better performance.
