Group Technology and Operations (T&O) enables and empowers the bank with an efficient, nimble and resilient infrastructure through a strategic focus on productivity, quality & control, technology, people capability and innovation. In Group T&O, we manage the majority of the Bank's operational processes and inspire to delight our business partners through our multiple banking delivery channels.
Role Description:
The Lead Technology Process Improvement Analyst is responsible for analyzing, designing, and implementing process improvements within the IT department. This role involves evaluating existing processes, identifying areas for enhancement, and developing strategies to optimize efficiency, productivity, and quality of IT services. The lead will collaborate with various teams to ensure that process improvements align with the company's goals and standards.
He/She will be the cornerstone of EASRE and actively participating in the co-creation, design, and execution of the enterprise objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
The role will have to co-create, design, and collaborate closely with the Architecture Review Council, Centre of Excellence and LOBTs on the implementation and adoption of architecture reference and standards. Actively promoting the initiatives and the respective collaboration within Tech community.
A technologist with a deep understanding of the different technology stack, the candidate also needs to have track records on delivering change or transformation program, an ability to negotiate, and a will to relentlessly improve the technology practice of the bank.
- Process Analysis and Design:
- Conduct comprehensive analysis of current IT processes and workflows.
- Identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and areas for improvement.
- Design and develop optimized processes that align with business objectives.
- Implementation and Monitoring:
- Implement process improvements and ensure smooth transition.
- Develop and monitor metrics to measure the effectiveness of process changes.
- Provide regular updates and reports on process improvement initiatives.
- Collaboration and Communication:
- Work closely with IT teams, management, and stakeholders to understand requirements and challenges.
- Facilitate workshops and meetings to gather input and feedback.
- Communicate process changes and improvements effectively to all relevant parties.
- Continuous Improvement:
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the IT department.
- Stay updated with industry best practices and emerging trends in IT process management.
- Recommend and implement ongoing improvements to IT processes.
- Documentation and Training:
- Create and maintain detailed documentation of process changes and improvements.
- Develop and deliver training programs to ensure successful adoption of new processes.
- Support staff in understanding and implementing new procedures.
- Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience:
- Minimum of 5-8 years of experience in process improvement, IT management, or a related field.
- Proven track record of successful process improvement initiatives.
- Skills and Competencies:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent project management and organizational abilities.
- Proficiency in process mapping and improvement tools (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Familiarity with Agile and DevOps practices.
