Group Technology and Operations (T&O) enables the bank with an efficient, nimble, and resilient infrastructure through a strategic focus on productivity, quality, technology, people capability, and innovation. In Group T&O, we manage the Bank's operational processes and aim to delight our business partners through multiple banking delivery channels.
Responsibilities
- Govern and manage the Risk Control Self-Assessment activities ensuring accuracy and completeness on relevant risks.
- Ensure follow-up actions are defined for assessment results, and control gaps are addressed.
- Monitor technology Key Risk Indicators, identify breaches, and collaborate with risk managers for corrective actions.
- Assess and recommend improvements on Key Risk Indicators to drive proactive risk management.
- Lead the Technology Risk Forum and review stakeholder presentations.
- Conduct technology risk assessments on new initiatives and articulate risk exposure impact.
- Engage with stakeholders to identify and remedy technical risks effectively.
- Design and implement technical risk mitigating measures.
- Manage Technology risk initiatives and target reviews across the organization.
- Assess regulatory changes impacting technology and drive related risk mitigation programs.
- Forge effective engagement with key stakeholders on risk management and governance matters.
Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related discipline with 12+ years experience in Financial/Banking IT.
- Experience in IT audit, CISA/CISM/CRISC certifications, or operational risk management.
- Strong verbal & written communication skills, particularly in documentation.
- Knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle, IT and Access Controls, and Cybersecurity Controls.
- Understanding cybersecurity issues, operational risks, and process improvement in technology and business.
- Familiarity with Banking Act regulations and guidelines related to technology and security.
- Experience leveraging data and analytics to gain stakeholder buy-in.
- Detail-oriented with investigative and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to manage stress, multitask, and work irregular hours in a fast-paced environment.
- Collaborate with stakeholders at all levels and effectively prioritize tasks.
- Strong analytical skills and systemic thinking for planning and risk assessment.
