MAIN PURPOSE OFROLE

  • Perform new customers and laboratory site inspections fornew contract/ tender preparations and design for newinstallations.
  • Provide Level I and Level IIservice (complex service interventions requiring more than 4 hoursof labor).
  • Installation of instruments,AbbottLink, and automation.
  • Perform IQOQ(Installation Qualification Operation Qualification) proceduresduring and after installation.
  • Assist withcustomer business reviews.
  • Schedule, perform,and document hardware and software updates (TSBs) requiring morethan 2 hours.
  • Deliver basic customer operatorintroductory training post install or post hardware or softwareupgrade.
  • Perform basic technical coaching andtraining for Abbott Ambassadors.
  • Service Salesand Service Cost Management.
  • Spare Parts andinventory management.
  • Timely submitting andupdate reporting system (e.g. CMS Next).
  • Comply to Abbott Quality and Regulatory Compliance andpolicies.
  • Any other tasks assigned bymanagement from time totime.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Diploma/ Bachelor's Degree in Medical Technology/Bioengineering or Electrical/ Mechanical Engineering ispreferred.
  • 3-5 years' experience in FieldService Engineering from relevant industries such asdiagnostics/medical device/ semiconductor etc.
  • Willing to be on rotational standby after work hours/work overtime to resolve urgent service issues.
  • Successful engagement with customers, specifically keystakeholders and lab staff.
  • Excellent productand industry knowledge, experience and process skills of thebusiness functions service delivery.
  • Abilityto identify and drive resolution of issues, technical expert forproduct line responsibility.
  • Excellentcommunication skills, experience in use of analytical tools andsoftware.
  • Coaching and trainingskills.
