Roles & Responsibilities

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and execute fresh and new internal and external communications campaigns for clients in the tech, government and B2B sectors
  • Lead a team of Account Executives and interns on client strategy and servicing
  • Communicate with clients to help identify internal goals and communication strategies to accomplish them in a creative and effective manner
  • Identify and capitalize on external comms opportunities – we’re looking for someone who understands the local and regional media landscape and what works to get coverage
  • Understand integrated comms and the importance of well-written, targeted content that reaches stakeholders
  • Identify and capitalize on strategic partnerships with like-minded companies that help to move the needle for all
  • Execute and advise on communication strategies and collaboratively develop strategic earned and social media plans
  • Establish and deliver analytics reports based on mutually agreed upon metrics
  • Coach team members through projects and deliverables, sharing positive and constructive feedback

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations or a related field
  • At least 5 years of experience at a PR/communications agency or in an in-house role – experience working on B2B/Corporate clients is a must
  • Excellent writing, verbal and presentation skills with the ability to speak with high-level executives
  • An independent worker who works well on a team and can be proactive and a self-starter
  • Detail-oriented, organized and dedicated; proactive and enthusiastic with an ability to juggle multiple tasks/accounts and meet deadlines; a quick learner
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously and work under pressure
  • Proactive and analytical thinking
  • Display and encourage creativity and innovation in self and others
