ZENXIN Organic, a leading organic fresh produce company in Pasir Panjang Wholesale centre, is seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Wholesale Trade Manager to drive sales and expand our market presence.

As the Wholesale Trade Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets and build strong, long-lasting relationships with wholesale customers. You will possess a deep understanding of the organic fresh produce market, excellent negotiation skills, and a proven track record of driving sales growth within the wholesale sector. Your passion for organic produce and your ability to identify and capitalize on market opportunities will be crucial to our continued success.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to achieve and exceed sales targets within the wholesale market segment.
  • Identify and cultivate new wholesale business opportunities, including distributors, retailers, foodservice providers, and other relevant channels.
  • Manage and nurture relationships with existing wholesale accounts, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Understand customer needs and provide tailored solutions, including product information, pricing, and delivery options.
  • Negotiate pricing, contracts, and terms of sale with wholesale customers to maximize profitability.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer demands to identify new opportunities and adjust sales strategies accordingly.
  • Collaborate closely with the sourcing and operations teams to ensure product availability, quality, and timely delivery to wholesale customers.
  • Develop and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals to potential and existing clients.
  • Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities to build brand awareness and generate leads.
  • Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and market analysis to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
  • Manage sales budgets and expenses effectively.
  • Stay up-to-date on organic certification standards and regulations relevant to wholesale trade.
  • Work closely with marketing to develop and implement effective sales and promotional materials.
  • Contribute to the overall growth and success of the company by actively participating in strategic planning and decision-making processes.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in wholesale sales, preferably within the fresh produce or food industry, with a strong focus on account management and business development.
  • Deep understanding of the organic fresh produce market, including seasonality, sourcing, and distribution channels.
  • Established network of contacts within the wholesale food industry is highly desirable.
  • Excellent sales, negotiation, and closing skills with a demonstrated ability to achieve and exceed sales targets.
  • Strong relationship-building and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively communicate and build rapport with diverse stakeholders.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret sales data and market trends.
  • Ability to work independently, be self-motivated, and manage time effectively.
  • Strong business acumen and a strategic mindset.
  • Passion for organic and sustainable food practices.
  • Willingness to travel as required to meet with clients and attend industry events.
