Project Assistant

Messe Berlin Singapore organises trade shows that forms a melting pot of like-minded individuals in the Travel and Tourism Industry such as ITB Asia – where international exhibitors of all sectors within the travel value chain commerce meet with top international buyers from MICE, Leisure, Corporate Travel and Travel Technology markets.
In your learning journey with the team, you will gain an overview of the dynamic travel market and be exposed to the planning process of Messe Berlin Singapore's events both physically and digitally (i.e. ITB Asia, MICE Show Asia, Travel Tech Asia, Travel Meet Asia and ITB India), where ITB Asia is Asia's leading travel trade show where international exhibitors of all sectors within the travel value chain commerce meet with top international buyers from MICE, Leisure and Corporate Travel markets.
The available roles are:
(1) PROJECT ASSISTANT - EXHIBITION SALES
• Assist in the sales processes - client servicing pre, during and after closing of sales
• Attend and fulfil exhibitors' enquiry
• Preparation of sales kit and relevant documents for the sales team
• Ensure data accuracy by performing data mining and verification
• Proficient in Google Docs, Sheets, and other online documentation platforms
(2) PROJECT ASSISTANT - MARKETING & CONFERENCE
• Overall support to the marketing team
• Designing and adaptation of promotional artwork for travel related projects
• Assist in developing marketing materials for all projects
• Oversee the maintenance of events websites, including uploading of information and answering queries
• Provide support for media partners, such as media tracking from media partners and updating deliverables on the media A-list
• Eye for detail, a sense of aesthetics and communication
• Proficiency in either Canva, Adobe Photoshop or Illustrator is a plus
• Proficient in Google Docs, Sheets, and other online documentation platforms
(3) PROJECT ASSISTANT - OPERATIONS
• Manage trade visitor registration and visitor's day-to-day enquiry
• Assist with the setup of CRM systems, event mobile applications, and other relevant digital systems for in-person events,
• Prior technical/IT knowledge is not required but you should be comfortable with working with CRM systems as well as possess a keen eye for detail, critical thinking and problem solving skills
• Take charge of ITB Ambassadors (event staffs) recruitment, schedule planning and trainings
• Take charge of sourcing and contracting ancillary partners to enhance attendee experience within the show floor
• You should be proficient in Google Docs, Sheets, and other online documentation platforms as well
Job Requirements
Candidates will be working closely with our trade show contractors, exhibitors, buyers, delegates, and the events team to deliver a successful show for ITB Asia, MICE Show Asia, Travel Tech Asia, Travel Meet Asia and ITB India and other projects the company takes on hence, you should have
• A can-do attitude, the grit to make things happen as well as the ability to identify and leverage new opportunities
• Strong time management and organizational skills to manage multiple projects
• Excellent customer service skills and attention to detail
• Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
• Ability to work well under pressure and adapt to ever-changing scenarios
• Capability of problem solving - Anticipating, initiating and resolving issues
