The School of Chemical and Life Sciences (CLS) offers a wide range of PET (Pre-Employment Training) and CET (Continuing Education and Training) courses to train technologists in deepening their existing knowledge and skills. Contributing towards nation’s drive in lifelong learning and education, you will be responsible in driving the development and delivery of trainings to adult learners as well as consultancy projects for the industries.

Adjunct Lecturer (Carbon Management/Sustainability Reporting/Lifecycle Assessment/Energy Efficiency/Circularity) - School of Chemical and Life Sciences (CLS)

[What you will be working on]
 

Responsibilities:-

  • Facilitate trainings for adult learners.

  • Conduct formative and/or summative assessments

  • Develop training and assessment materials including e-learning for adult learners

  • Support administration related to training and assessment as well as conform to the institution’s rules and procedures governing CET

  • Involve in consultancy projects related to sustainability

[What we are looking for]

Requirements:-

  • 2 to 3 years of relevant working experience in one or more area(s) below:

    a)    Greenhouse Gas Inventory/Carbon Management

    b)    Sustainability Reporting

    c)    Sustainability Assessment

    d)    Lifecycle Assessment and Costing

    e)    Energy Efficiency and Technologies

    f)      Circularity

    g)    Energy Efficiency

  • Passionate in learning and possess strong desire to engage adult learners

  • People-oriented individual with strong interpersonal, written and communication skills

  • Self-directed and independent with analytical skills

  • Technology savvy and proficient in Microsoft Office Powerpoint & Excel.

  • Relevant qualifications in Environmental Science/Technology & Management; Sciences and/or Engineering
