Roles & Responsibilities

The Finance Manager is accountable for providing accurate, timely and efficient financial reports to management and trade financing application services, supporting management, Group Finance and Business Units as required.


Responsibilities

  • Oversees and coordinates the activities of SG companies to obtain optimum use of resources such as finance, trade bills operation and etc.
  • Review all the operations reports and financial/management reports of SG companies.
  • Liaise with bankers, staff and management on all aspects of SG companies and on the finance, purchase and sales of certain business units.
  • Maintain the relationship with bankers and improve the existing banking facilities while finding new ways to work hands in hands with banks.
  • Confers and cooperates with management personnel in formulating administrative & operational policies and procedures.
  • Reviews and analyses expenditure, financial, and also operation reports to define requirements for increasing operational efficiency and profits.
  • Enforces compliance of company personnel with administrative policies, procedures, governmental regulations and all applicable rules and regulations.
  • Provide back-up support to both Operations and finance department when the need arises
  • Liaise with Auditors, Tax Agents, Corporate secretaries, relevant Government Authorities.
  • Support Group finance team for supplier payment issues.
  • Participate in HR management such as the recruitment, promotion, disciplinary matters, performance evaluations.
  • Other ad hoc duties requested by Management.

Work Experience

  • Min 5 years of relevant work experience in supervising finance and operation matter
  • Experience in trade financing, handling shipment relevant documents and process
  • Experience in general management of the company; finance, HR, Admin, other operations

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Business or other related studies.
