Purpose and Scope

  • As a Field Inspector, you will be responsible to conduct on-site inspections at the depots and during waste collection to ensure compliance with regulations and company policies, present findings and provide recommendations for improvement to the operations team.

Key Roles and Responsibilities

  • Conduct on-site inspections of ground operations at the depots and during waste collection to ensure compliance with regulations and company policies.
  • Document findings and prepare detailed reports on inspection results.
  • Participate in the monthly Staff Communication with operations team.
  • Provide recommendations for improvements to waste management practices to enhance efficiency and compliance.
  • Stay up to date on relevant laws, regulations, and industry best practices to ensure thorough and accurate inspections.
  • Communicate effectively with operations team and management to address any compliance issues and promote a culture of environmental responsibility.

Qualification, Skills and Experience

  • Completed GCE O level / Diploma in any discipline with at least 1 year of working experience in enforcement/operations management
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
  • Preferably with own transport and have a valid Class 2 license
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient in MS Office (Words, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Principal work location will be at Bedok, candidates must be comfortable travelling islandwide due to job nature
  • Working hours: Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 6pm with occasional weekend duties as and when required
