To assist in the overall implementation of strategies and plans in focus areas of
(1) training opportunities via partnership work and collaborations and (2) analysis of sector needs, so as to improve the capability and capacity of social service professionals in serving the needs of the sector as aligned to NCSS’s mission and vision, resulting in a relevant and responsive SSI.
[What you will be working on]
Implement the Analysis framework (in the ADDIE model) for SSI, ensuring its course offerings are relevant and responsive.
- Engage in systematic training data collection, in the areas of training demand and supply, based on Skills Frameworks
- Analyse data collected to provide insights for other teams in SSI to act on
- Analyse trends from data collection of past SSI course runs
- Facilitate sense-making of data to identify new courses for SSI
Implement partnership and engagement strategy for SSI to meet existing and emerging training needs of social service professionals (SSPs)
- Cultivate relationships with existing and potential reputable partners from public and private sectors, including social service agencies (SSAs), training providers, Institutes of Higher Learning and relevant Associations within the social service sector, to arrive at win-win collaborations
- Implement partnership and engagement strategies based on data-driven findings
- Manage contracting process required in collaborations
Business development and marketing efforts of SSI courses
- Identify and propose suitable SSI courses for training and upskilling opportunities in engagements with SSAs
- Court and manage block books (corporate runs of SSI courses) or training requests from Government agencies, SSAs and other organisations
- Implement marketing and publicity efforts as part of cross-functional teams
- Explore new distribution channels to effectively reach SSIs target audience (SSPs, SSAs, government agencies)
Stakeholder management, sector engagement and community outreach, and working across teams.
- Manage issues which may arise in the process of collaboration and develop appropriate resolutions
- Co-develop with team leads collaborative, annual / quarterly plans to engage the sector
- Implement developed plans, including communication, demand generation and tracking and closing business leads
- Manage project deliverables, tracks progress, facilitate meetings, manage stakeholders
- Work across NCSS Groups and Divisions, establish network and identify collaboration opportunities

Minimum 3 years of working experience in partnership and engagement work in the social service sector, with experience in the continuing education and training sector a bonus
Special Certification(s)
Advanced Certificate in Learning and Performance will be a bonus
