[What the role is]

Office of Information Services-Asst Mgr/Dpy Mgr/Mgr (Systems & Common Services)

[What you will be working on]

  • Assist in ensuring that all components in the Systems & Common Services are in compliance with the functional and IT security requirements

  • Assist in maintaining a streamlined Systems & Common Services by proactively seeks areas to improve and continuously research and evaluate new technologies/methodologies and give recommendation.

  • Assist in ensuring smooth Systems & Common Services operations and in compliance with policies and SOP

  • Assist in managing IT projects and coordinate with the other parties to guarantee its success

  • Assist in managing vendors for projects and contracts

  • Assist in planning and tracking of projects and budget

  • Manages the training of new support team members on relevant work areas

  • Manages the training of existing team members or users on new software or changes to the Systems & Common Services

  • Provide as an escalation level from application support team.

[What we are looking for]

  • Relevant qualification, preferably in Information Technology or a related field.

  • At least 4 years of IT experience is preferred

  • A hardworking, dynamic person who takes initiative and able to multi-task and handle diverse portfolios

  • Able to work as a team with applications team, security team, or other stakeholders

  • Strong conceptual understanding on the following areas (preferably with work experience):

    • Common services such as ePayment gateways, SIngpass/MyInfo, IT Ticketing system

    • DevSecOps

    • Middleware such as API Gateways, FTP exchanges, ESB
