SUMMARY OF POSITION

The incumbent is responsible for accounting support, tax declaration and statutory audit of Singapore, Japan and Hong Kong entity. She (he) will also ensure the internal control compliance of daily transactions for the rest of Asia legal entities.

QUALIFICATIONS (education, experience, certifications, skills)

  • Bachelor degree or above with major on finance, accounting or audit is a must;
  • At least +8 years related finance work experience with MNCs is a must;
  • Good command of English for both writing and speaking is a must;
  • Soft skills like decent and cross-culture communication are required;
  • Incumbent must be highly motivated, creative, of high integrity, and a team player, detail oriented and hard working. Be able to work under pressure;

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Prepare monthly indirect payment request package, assign BU & G/L for each expense item, obtain approvals and work with global accounting team to make JE's and payments.
  • Monthly reconciliation of Corp credit cards with Concur submission, and process payments to both the credit card provider and Concur's third party processing agent.
  • Make monthly accruals (re-accruals) and ICO charge out calculation with GST considerations.
  • Monthly blackline reconciliations of rest of Asia legal entities.
  • Quarterly GST detailed reports and declaration with IRAS.
  • Make ECI (ACI) calculations and filings with IRAS before deadline.
  • Support Deloitte for statutory audit and make annual report filings by deadline.
  • Costar lease system tracking and updates for any lease changes.
  • Cash application of Singapore entity for GST receivable.
  • Monitor month end closing of Japan trading entity to ensure proper revenue recognition, accruals and general reserves etc.
  • Provide support on office administration related matters ;
  • Other ad hoc assignments from APAC finance leaders ;
