Job Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the quality of food prepared by staff meets high standards, making necessary adjustments as needed.
  • Monitor food quality and quantity to ensure economical use of ingredients.
  • Assist in daily purchasing and receiving of goods, ensuring quality from suppliers.
  • Maintain the cleanliness, hygiene, and upkeep of the kitchen to the highest standards.
  • Plan monthly rosters to ensure smooth operations and high productivity.
  • Manage training functions, ensuring all staff are certified in their roles before assuming responsibilities.
  • Monitor staff performance, ensuring adherence to restaurant standards, and provide direct coaching when necessary.
  • Attend monthly management meetings, conduct daily briefings, and communicate feedback to ensure staff satisfaction in the absence of the Executive & Head Chef.
