Overview:

We are seeking a part-time Administrative Assistant to support our Marine Offshore Company. The ideal candidate will provide administrative and clerical support to ensure efficient operations within the company. This role offers an opportunity to contribute to the smooth functioning of our organization while gaining valuable experience in the marine industry.

Responsibilities:


• Provide administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the office.


• Assist in the day-to-day operations of the company, including data entry, filing, and document management.


• Prepare and modify documents, including correspondence, reports, drafts, memos, and emails.


• Schedule and coordinate appointments, meetings, and events as needed.


• Assist in the preparation of regularly scheduled reports.


• Perform general clerical duties, including photocopying, faxing, and mailing.


• Maintain office supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level, anticipating needed supplies, placing and expediting orders for supplies, and verifying receipt of supplies.


• Maintain accurate records and files in accordance with company policies and procedures.


• Handle sensitive information in a confidential manner.


• Provide support to managers and employees as needed.


• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:


• High school diploma or equivalent.


• Proven experience as an administrative assistant or relevant role.


• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).


• Excellent organizational and time management skills.


• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.


• Ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks effectively.


• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.


• Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion.


• Knowledge of basic office equipment (e.g., printers, copiers, fax machines).


• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.


• Prior experience in the marine industry is a plus (but not required).
