Exciting Opportunity Ahead
In this position, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and continuous day-to-day operations in a Data Centre.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Familiarity with BMC Control-M batch job execution and monitoring.
- Supporting incident identification, escalation, and reporting.
- Conducting backup operations and regular server health checks.
- Producing reports on a regular basis.
- Adhering to all operational and physical security procedures.
- Maintaining necessary records to achieve a satisfactory audit rating.
- Completing any other operational duties as assigned.
Qualifications for Success:
- At least a Diploma in IT or Computer Science.
- Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in DC Operations.
- Familiarity with Data Centre and Server Operations Support.
- Good understanding of Control M scheduling, Batch Job Processing, Report Generation, and DR Support.
- Ability to work on rotational shifts (e.g., 8 or 12-hour patterns).
- Capacity to multitask and perform effectively under pressure with a positive attitude.
