Job Description

We are seeking an outstanding Senior Copywriter with extensive experience in the fashion and beauty care industry, specifically in crafting compelling content for the Chinese market. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of the cultural nuances and trends within the Chinese market, as well as a consistent record of crafting engaging and persuasive copy for various marketing channels.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop creative and engaging copy for a wide range of marketing materials, including product descriptions, social media posts, ad campaigns, and promotional materials, tailored to the Chinese market.
  2. Ensure that all copy adheres to the brand's voice and tone guidelines and accurately represents the brand's identity and values.
  3. Proofread and edit content to ensure accuracy, consistency, and adherence to brand guidelines and industry standard processes.
  4. Stay informed about the latest copywriting techniques and strategies, and continuously improve your skills to ensure that your work remains at the forefront of the industry.

Job Qualifications

Minimum of 5 years of copywriting experience in the fashion and beauty care industry, with a strong focus on the Chinese market. Experience in prestige category preferred.

Native proficiency in Mandarin Chinese, with excellent, insightful and trendy writing skills in both Chinese and English.

Proven record of crafting compelling, persuasive, and engaging copy for a variety of marketing channels, including social media, websites, and print materials.

In-depth knowledge of Chinese culture, trends, and consumer behaviour, as well as a strong understanding of the Chinese fashion and beauty care market.

In-depth understanding of China platforms (Douyin, Litte Red Book, WeChat, etc).

Tight-knit collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
