What does the Human Resources People Services Team do in ING?

The People Services team in Human Resources focusses on the day to day governance and delivery of HR services to our staff ranging from onboarding through the lifecycle of the employee journey.

What would you be doing?

There is currently a transformation project taking place to implement more HR digital solutions as part of the Global HR system footprint.

As an intern, you will provide support to the People Services function in all HR risk administration related matters while some regular team members focus on aspects of the transformation project.

The work will cover HR services for the Asia region such as;

Support the broader HR group across all matters related to HR Risk and Compliance. HR Risk relates to all Non Financial Risk areas including topics such as Data Privacy and Protection. Assist with driving HR Risk reviews the maintenance and documentation of HR Risk related operating procedures and policies as required Perform some HR reporting and analytics on HR Risk and Compliance related matters Support HR projects related to HR systems, processes and transformation What qualities, skills and other criteria are we looking for? We are looking for a passionate individual who meets the following criteria: Minimum GPA of 3.5/4 or 4.2/5 or equivalent Strong written and verbal communication skills Comfortable with handling large volumes of information Good organizational skills and attention to detail Able to visualize and understand the end to end of a process Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint etc.) Reasonable level of savviness wth IT to use HR systems and data to be efficient in work Able to maintain a high level of confidentiality Resourceful and willingness to learn Previous internship in HR or a major in HR would be of added value You should have legal work rights in the country of internship What would you gain from this internship? Real world hands on experience with day to day Non Financial Risk as it pertains to HR in the banking and financial services industry plus witness the migration of tasks to globalized HR processes and systems.
