Reinsurance Client Support Specialist (Treaty Technician)

Your responsibilities as a technical treaty specialist:

  • Inputting contractual details for premium invoicing.
  • Reviewing technical account statements and claims advices, processing them according to set procedures.
  • Addressing queries from clients, reinsurers, and related parties.
  • Assisting in resolving technical accounting and claims issues.
  • Ensuring timely responses to revenue review queries and requests.
  • Adhering to professional standards and compliance with procedures.
  • Presentation materials preparation for clients and reinsurers.
  • Communication to settle difficult issues and secure agreements.
  • Utilizing system tools for managing processes effectively.
  • Ensuring tasks are completed in alignment with SLAs.
  • Providing complex information for sales opportunities and business growth.
  • Managing fund settlements accurately and timely.
  • Conducting reinsurance audit/reviews and resolving open claims.
  • Collaborating on challenging reinsurance projects.
  • Offering training and guidance within the team.
  • Building relationships with Brokers, Clients, and Markets.

Requirements for this role:

  • Experience in processing Treaty technical accounts/claims in a reinsurance setting.
  • Previous involvement in the Reinsurance industry, especially in Treaty Reinsurance.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft suite.
