Responsibilities for Kitchen Assistant:

  • Preparing meal ingredients for the cook, which includes washing, peeling, cutting, and slicing ingredients.
  • Properly washing and drying all dishes, utensils, cooking instruments and cutting boards.
  • Neatly putting away all utensils, cooking instruments, dishes, and cutting boards in their respective places.
  • Storing ingredients and food items according to food safety standards.
  • Prepare meals as directed and according to recipe
  • Following proper kitchen standard operating procedures
  • Preparation and production of soup (Lobster soup, Tonkotsu Soup etc.)
  • Assisting kitchen staff to unload food supplies from delivery trucks.
  • Removing garbage, replacing garbage bags, and washing garbage cans.
  • Packing take-out orders as needed.
  • Set up the kitchen for the day's business by setting equipment ready for use and preparing necessary product.
  • Any other ad-hoc tasks/duties assigned by managers
  • Keeping kitchen clean, hygienic, and safe

Requirements: Willing to learn and positive attitude Able to start work immediately No prior experience is required Candidates with Food Hygiene Certification is preferred Able to work shifts, weekends and public holidays
