Reporting to the Manager, IT Applications, you are responsible for full suite of new application software/ website development that covers both front and back end.Work with Internal Business user to define user requirementBuild the user interface for new application softwareDevelop the application, server, and database that make up the foundational structure of a website/ application softwarePrepare systems documentation, such as functional specifications and technical specificationsPrepare and develop User Acceptance Testing (UAT) plan, coordinate and administer UAT and pilot runs applications softwareBe the key contact and work closely with system vendors and business users / leaders to resolve all system related issues
Qualifications
Diploma/ Degree in Computer Science, Information System or related discipline6 years or more of relevant experience with solid exposure in systems design, application development, Web application development, SQL Server database design and development, including Database views, triggers and rules, stored procedures on SQL server platformStrong programming skills in .Net application (using .Net Framework and .Net Core)Knowledge of multiple front-end languages and libraries (e.g., HTML/ CSS, JavaScript, XML, jQuery), NodeJS, and SPA Frameworks (e.g., Vue JS)Must be familiar with source control management and version control (e.g., GitHub, etc)Experience designing and integrating RESTful APIsExposure to writing automated unit and integration testingKnowledge of Message Queue e.g., MSMQ, RabbitMQ is an added advantageFamiliar developing software in a DevOps CI/CD environmentFull stack developer experience preferredWork with agile development methodologies, adhering to best practices and pursuing continued learning opportunitiesQuick learner to understand the entire system landscape well and to deep dive into problem solvingMust be able to troubleshoot, resolve and solve technical issues quicklyProven experience in system implementation and deploymentExperience in developing middleware for system integration is requiredStrong analytical and statistical skillsGood communications and vendor management skills; proactive, problem-solving, and willing to learn new technologiesSelf-motivated with the ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and manage changing prioritiesProven ability to be flexible and work hard, both independently and in a team environment with changing priorities.
