We are currently seeking an experienced Agile Scrum Master to join our talented team at NCS.

What we aim to achieve together:

Scrum Masters are expert leaders in technology and agile project delivery who are fully committed to their projects. They collaborate with clients to turn requirements into actionable user stories and guide cross-functional development teams to convert those stories into functional products within set timelines and budgets.

Responsibilities:

  • Establish and operate within an agile project governance framework (e.g. set team rhythm, facilitate Scrum events, manage dependencies, issues, and risks)
  • Collaborate with the Product Owner to shape the product roadmap, manage the structure and content of the product backlog, including user stories that clearly convey stakeholder needs and are easily understood by development teams
  • Act as the functional expert for the solution and serve as the link between product, technology, business, and governance teams
  • Lead delivery across various domains, including defining and validating the technical approach and deliverables with technical leads, guiding quality engineers/testers during test plan execution, and facilitating UAT and business acceptance

About You:

  • Over 7 years of experience managing software projects in a consulting environment; experience in leading teams of 5 or more and/or projects with a budget exceeding $1M
  • Apt at bridging business and technical teams to deliver efficient, timely solutions that meet strategic and operational requirements
  • Solid expertise in software delivery methodologies like Agile, Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, XP, and Lean
  • Proficient in leading all Scrum events such as sprint planning, daily Scrum, sprint review, and retrospective
  • Experience or exposure to software development using various programming languages and technologies
  • Experience in project delivery and managed services, ensuring continuous IT service improvement and enhancements
  • Skilled in assessing business requirements, assisting product owners in developing user stories, and coordinating team estimations
  • Experience in coaching teams to adopt modern Agile Delivery practices and tools, with a preference for familiarity with DevOps
  • Effective, transparent communication ensuring project status, goals, and challenges are understood by all team members and stakeholders
