We are in search of a Senior Technical Specialist to become a part of our regional Scientific and Laboratory Services (SLS) team, aimed at offering technical support to SEA (SouthEast Asia) Microelectronics customers to help hit sales targets.

Your role will involve utilizing your knowledge and experience in the semiconductor industry, forming a technical triad along with Marketing and Sales. Together, you will collaborate with customers to suggest or create filtration solutions that align with their process needs, present filter application performance data, organize technical review meetings, conduct filtration seminars, and gather technical feedback through voice-of-customer (VoC) about filtration technologies.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Develop and propose suitable filtration schemes for various applications (Wet Cleans, Photolithography, CMP, UPW, etch, etc)
  • Lead and oversee test plans to troubleshoot complex or uncommon performance issues utilizing advanced analytical thinking and judgment
  • Prepare and deliver technical reports to both internal and external stakeholders
  • Steer the technical implementation and risk assessments of enhanced marketed filters
  • Promote and present findings of prototype filter evaluations
  • Collect and address VOC regarding filter performance gaps and needs for upcoming processes
  • Identify and enhance collaboration possibilities with customers, and co-author papers jointly, when appropriate

Basic Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Physics, Electrical Engineering, Materials Science or a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in the semiconductor industry (Fabs (IDM), Materials Suppliers, Process Equipment Manufacturers (OEM))
  • Understanding of a process module (Photolithography, Wet Etch/Cleans, Dry Etch, CMP) in the semiconductor manufacturing process
  • Knowledge of on-wafer defect and material characterization techniques

Preferred Requirements:

  • Master's or Ph.D. degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Physics, Electrical Engineering, Materials Science or a related field
  • Practical knowledge or experience in filtration for Microelectronics related materials or processes
  • Prior experience working directly with customers
